Client Description:
This is a Level 1 rural and remote hospital comprising 11 inpatient beds based in Queensland (QLD), offering the following services:
• 24 hour inpatient care
• Accident and emergency
• General primary healthcare management
• Radiology
• Pharmacy
• Antenatal care up to 36 weeks gestation
• Allied Health Services
The hospital is staffed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers and nurses. In partnership with hospital staff and other government agencies, they provide health assessment, chronic disease management as well as health education and promotion programs.
Location Information
